Facebook's new annoying feature

Thursday, May 3, 2018

Facebooks New Scrolling FeatureFacebook has a new feature, that was quietly rolled out at the end of last year to some users, and that I have been seeing more often on my own personal news feed. If you are online as much as I am you may have noticed it.

It appears to show once you have seen all new posts and have been scrolling down your newsfeed. Rather that repeat old posts from your friends or pages you follow, you will see an image with a Rocket Ship on it. Following this graphic will be an endless list of pages that you do not follow, but Facebook thinks you may like.

Personally I find this annoying, as I would already follow those pages if I cared to know about celebrity gossip.

I can't find a way to get rid of this yet, so when I see it, I just leave Facebook for a while. Probably a good thing.

'' Erica designed our club's website and the entire experience was great. She did a wonderful job of making it intuitive for our members to use and informative for those interested in our Club. She was also very helpful and patient in training the club's website administrators. Erica has always been quick to respond to any of our questions and did a wonderful job of teaching us how to use the site. The manual she prepared has been a great asset. The website has been a tremendous benefit to the Shuswap Lady Striders. Would not hesitate to recommend Erica.
